Realising how many of my friends are trying their bestest to get used to their uni life, I just simply wonder, what am I doing exactly?

Yes, I'm serving the nation, doing my part in Seletar Camp, but what exactly is the nation benefiting from me? It's just one more person doing guard duty all the way until ORD.

Not that I want to complain, life is really good down there with nice people around, but life seems so mundane and can get really bad. That's why, I'm planning to maximise my time down there to upgrade myself, or even to engage in more reading and stuffs which I didn't used to do so.

Many have told me how stressful their lives are in uni, and to think I thought I'd have time in uni to get a life. Smart people facing problem, so what about me then?

Put that aside, I've decided to finish off with my driving, and to take up, perhaps a new language like Korean for instance. Being utterly, hopelessly practical, my concern was the language to be learnt must be of a good tool for my future, and Korean is very promising. I love languages, and hopefully Korean is something I can fall in love with.

On a happier note, I went out with guys from AMB for a drink at M Hotel. Rather a challenge for me as my threshold level is relatively low, and imagine Chivas+mixers. They're funny bunch of people and I'm certain that I'm going to get more used to the lifestyle there.
